Very True.. The reel is a 5000 series Soulyang will be casting mostly spoons and bubble rigs for Spanish. Some jigs and live baits for trout and pompano.Reel capacity is 250 yards of 15 # mono.

I think I would use a 4000 or 3500 size reel with 10# white, light blue or hivis yellow braid. I don't think the colors that are more visible to us humans, deter the fish given a long enough leader is used. If you hook into a big fish, you just have to play him longer, increasing the fun, and hope it doesn't get sharked.Quote:
