BP?

OK, so here's the deal. My family has owned a service station, started by my father some 60+ years ago. At one time it was a Pure station then later a Union 76 (my favorite), later an Amoco and lastly and currently a BP station. How is BP viewed in the region? Did they man up and do right by the locals?

Dont know about that last question, its still in debate and final settlement may be a long way off.
But I think most people realize gas stations are locally owned no matter who's gas they sell. I dont recall any long-lasting backlash against gas stations.

Thanks Karl, I remember seeing all the spill claim ads down there. Glad there's not a backlash against the stations, which your right are most likely locally owned.

I have noticed that some pre-spill BP stations are now Shell stations.

That kind of figures, a lot of people still align the local gas station with being in bed with large global profit or nothing companies which is not the case at all. Just my 2 cents.
