Black birds messin up the pier house
I know the fishin is poor and not a lot of rats are out and about right now, in fact it might be time for a poll or something to stimulate some good banter.
Anyway I stopped by the pier with my sister in law last Saturday afternoon to show her how nice it was, and....................YUK!!!
It seems there is a bunch of black birds (crows/grackles) that have decided to inhabit and use the pier house for their roost and toilet area. Not pretty at all.
Anyone else noticed this? There really needs to be some serious discouragement applied to the situation. If these birds are a rare protected species, that's one thing but if not my suggestion would include a liberal application of .22 rat shot to the offenders. I will donate 50 rounds. It won't hurt the roof and the survivors will decide all on their own that life would be more promising if they were living it somewhere else.Beware the power of fools in large numbers
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
