There's a joint right behind the shell station on hwy 10/59. They have pretty good BBQ. Haven't tried hog wild so I couldn't compare it to them.

About the only place to get good BBQ in Mobile is your own backyard.
I haven't found a place yet worth the money.Carl

Sam is right, good eats!
The place behind the Shell at CR 10 is Down South BBQ (251) 955-6622) and it is good. Mostly take out, but they do have covered seating outdoors. Might want to call first for hours.
Plus there is a good bait and seafood shop adjacent to the Shell Station. One-stop BBQ and Bait!!!

Nope, don't care for the Dreamland in Mobile. To me, it doesn't come close to comparison to the original in T-town.
We went there a month or so ago, We each got a Pulled Pork sandwich and fries. BBQ sandwiches and portion of fires were so small, my 6 year old was even still hungry.
I have tried their ribs in the past, not bad but mine are better.
BBQ chicken was OK, but once again, I can make it better at home.
I'm not saying the places in Mobile are bad, but to me they just don't rise to the standard of some of the BBQ joints in the central & northern part of the state like Lannie's in Selma.Carl

Dreamland even in Tusc has gone down since the old man died.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
