Beer at the pier
Today as I was walking on I noticed a person sitting at the bar drinking a beer. I asked ranger Randy what was up with that and he said you now can get beer at the pier. I thought that idea was shot down.

You can thank or complain to the Park Superintendent, Lisa Laraway about the beer at the pier. She didn't give up after first rejection.
The restaurant probably has a better chance with beer on the menu.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with beer being served at the roost. After a long hot day of fishing I wouldn't mind a cold beer and a snack. That's just me though.
Ill add, beer served at the restaurant and BYOB on the pier are 2 different things. That's up to the pier staff to wrestle that monkey.

I'm gunna sit back, watch, and wait till someone gets hammered (and violent), unfortunately, I'm afraid it is inevitable, I just hope I'm not there when it happens, is there a limit on what they can sell?
I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.

I went to the Town Council meeting last year and made my feelings about beer on the pier known. I was against it then and my opinion has not changed. I've already witnessed a couple of blowups on the octi recently and I'm afraid RodbuilderESM is right about worse things to come if alcohol is easy to get.

I like your thinking man, but do it quick so "the man" don't see you

Sorry guys but I'm glad they have pier beer now..saves the walk to the parking lot .... Now we just need bushwhackers
Give a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
