Back to reality
Well, dadgummit, the national championship trophy did not make it back to the State of Alabama this year, but now we can all get back to the more urgently important things in life like fish populations, terminal tackle, rods and reels and water conditions. Just think, two months from now we should be catching sheepshead and pompano and the cobia fishermen will be spooling new line and sharpening their jig hooks.
The sun came up this morning right on time and the birds at my feeder didn't care who won what game. Good days coming.

Agree with everything above except
two months from now we should be catching sheepshead and pompano and the cobia fishermen will be spooling new line and sharpening their jig hooks

you'll get it done....dog days of summer will be a good time to fill those hours and still hit the good fishing months / weeks

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
