Alabama Governor to Resign
Reports that he is at the Montgomery County jail being fingerprinted and about to resign.

We didn't vote for Dr. Bentley, but ended up liking him sometimes. Just made decisions with the wrong head in charge.

Too bad they didn't lock him up before he screwed up everything in GS with the BP oil spill money.

Good riddance of yet another scumbag politician... The only sad news is that they're all scumbags.

Watching his resignation speech with all its specious rationalizations and hiding behind his religion took away a lot of my pleasure in being a dirty old man. I guess I'd better straighten up and play nice now. At least I don't try and screw an entire state. (Actually, I don't try and screw anybody---or anything, but that's a story for another time.)

Noooo, please, not me! I'd have to deal with roads, schools, taxes, polititions and other criminals.
But, can a guv do anything about fishing? Make the net boats work in the North Atlantic from Nov. to Feb.? Only allow them sail for power?
Thought provoking.
I have almost $200 in my discretionary fund---would that be enough to run?
Never mind. I'd probblybub have to stay in Montgomery---but then again, there's that new Govs Mansion out Ft. Morgan way. I'll have to think about it. Maybe I could build a "Governor's Pier" out in the Gulf.

People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
