Hmm not sure. The only time ive ever been out there was when I was riding around with my buddies at night. We would go out there to scare the girls we had with us. It's a pretty creepy place but very historic. I wouldn't venture towards Selma. It's a crappy town that's been rundown.

I hear 'em called "soft drinks" a lot, which makes sense when the alternative is likely to be homemade white whiskey, which is definitely a "hard drink".

best whiskey I ever had was a 25 year old Suntory that my mother-in-law had hidden for 15 years before she gave it to me. Talk about smooth.
But I don't think you could call that local!Carl
