After Hurricane Report
House on Fort Morgan Road had some outside damage but not bad.Our beautiful Dock on Mobile Bay was damaged bad.So pilings look ok but boards are gone and it needs repaired.
Water from bay was like 5 feet of water coming over road etc.Bay Gardens on Route 180 mm 13 took some damage mostly houses right on bay. Some great folks who live there will fix there damage and move on.
Now Route West 180 going to Fort Morgan has tree damage and the hard working folks been working everyday since so on both sides of road now are lined with trees and people piling up there items from the damage houses roof material, mattress etc So a warning anyone driving to the Fort make sure you have a spare tire because of all the stuff on both sides of road could be plywood etc that is being picked up with cherry pickers etc.So nails or any thing can be on road.
i drove down to the Fort the boat ramps did great after the storm. But the parking lot is completely full with Steel beams that are huge.Plus no one could park there truck with boat trailers there so check with the Fort before putting boat over.
Its crazy that lots of house siding came off on east side of homes.
Also the hard working Electric Co folks did a great job.New telephone poles for a couples miles old one some cut right in half.
Internet back and I drove over to Orange Beach off Canal Road the Mulch Co bringing those trees in and making huge mounds of mulch.
Also the Police are there in force and doing a great job watching over peoples Properties until they get back.
Also the people have been great helping out where they can.
Last thing there is still some standing water on Fort Morgan Road so keep speed down a little especially around curves so you can see the water.Mostly in one lane now.
God Bless Tom

Refridges and freezers are in short supply and have been for many months, we have been fixing some that would have been scraped if folks could have bought new.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
