75th Anniversary D-Day Normandy Invasion
God bless "the Greatest Generation".
The men (and women) who participated and supported this endeavor (should) have our eternal gratitude for what they accomplished on this day 75 years ago...

Anyone who does not understand should watch the first ten minutes of "Saving Private Ryan". I'm sure it is only a semblance of what they faced, but it is the most powerful representation I have ever seen.
Set revisionist history and politics aside if you need to and just appreciate the men as human beings when something greater demands sacrifice.People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
