Will the pier be closed again for the fireworks on the 4th?

This year they will be shot from the GS Public Beach. However, I think the pier will be overloaded with fireworks spectators early in the evening. IMHO

Glad to hear they will NOT be burning down the pier again this year.
Sidenote: There's no telling if, how much structural damage was done by those mortars going off...

Very good judgment not to put explosives on the pier. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
