Where are you? It looks like some of the streams around Yellowstone. I have a trout fishing trip planned to Boise Id. last week of September. Beautiful mountains and water so clear.
Just over the Continental Divide(the peaks you see in the background) past Breckenridge, CO

No. 49* when we started with a right smart breeze. Warmed up nicely after about 9:00. Whole different style. Took me a couple hours to get out of the load it up and let it rip style of casting. Very delicate and requires a very soft touch. Loads of fun.
Good to "see" you DD...send some of the cool air to Mississippi....

Going back this weekend on my own. Now that I know a little bit about it, I think I might have a bit more luck. Absolute hardest part is developing the touch to let the line float down to the water instead of slapping it down. Amazing thing is how you can absolutely lose track of what's going on around you. Total concentwation, gwasshopper.
