Where are you? It looks like some of the streams around Yellowstone. I have a trout fishing trip planned to Boise Id. last week of September. Beautiful mountains and water so clear.

Thanks for the great pics Greg; evidently not shorts and flip flop territory!

No. 49* when we started with a right smart breeze. Warmed up nicely after about 9:00. Whole different style. Took me a couple hours to get out of the load it up and let it rip style of casting. Very delicate and requires a very soft touch. Loads of fun.
Screw it. Let's ride.

Tks. I've had a whole lot of requests for that.
Going back this weekend on my own. Now that I know a little bit about it, I think I might have a bit more luck. Absolute hardest part is developing the touch to let the line float down to the water instead of slapping it down. Amazing thing is how you can absolutely lose track of what's going on around you. Total concentwation, gwasshopper.Screw it. Let's ride.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
