I had picked up some floaters but they are near imposable to fish from the pier and height, so trying to add some weight to help them sink some....tried a bullet weight in front last year but it didn't work, so trying something different....that stick on lead is expensive, so making my own
Bill, I've never done this but I've heard of drilling a small hole in the lure and dropping bird shot or bb's in and then patching with epoxy. Gives it a rattle too. Might be worth a try but I'd try it first on a few cheap lures.
I've never tried on a Yozuri, but I have gotten similar lures to swim right by replacing the front treble hook with a bass casting weight. If nothing else, it helps prevent foul hooking the leader when casting.
i seen weights that look like string (soft lead string) and you wrap them around the hook shaft for a quick fix
Buddy of mine is a big time tourney bass fisherman, Bill. He puts weight on the hooks. Says that's the only way to preserve the action of the lure....the dots work but peel off quickly. Make sure you put the same weight on each hook. He made a mold...should be up your alley.

I have seen some bass fishermen wrap the shank of a plugs treble hooks with very thin solder that comes on a spool that you can buy at radio shack and other electronics stores. Never did it myself, so I can't speak as to how effective it is. Just a thought.
