    Thing a ma jigs

Made these up to pull behind a bubble. Easy to make with vinyl tubing and some beads. Used 40# mono for the leader. You could use a bullet weight if you want to control the depth. Each one is cut on a 45 degree angle on the leading edge to increase darting action when pulled. Thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Dawg, you can add some skirts too. It may help. I use the beads along with colored straws and reflective mylar, red and silver hooks... just about anything to add color.

It's all up to the fish now.

Good idea, Pop. The ones in my pictures are all 3". Think I'll make up some 2" and tie some buck tails on them. Also thought about putting some cotton in the hook end and put a few drops of Gulp scent in there. Not going to be able to try them until October so if you use yours before then let me know how you did with them. Seems to me they would work off the pier and smaller ones should work in the surf or bay for Pomps, Flounder and spec's if they have some kind of jig head on them and bounce them along the bottom. No matter what it will be fun giving them a try. Fish sometimes do some crazy things.
