    SP844 Build

    I put together a SP844 for a forum member. Great little blank.

    I like it, I love that cool 3D thing you do under your thread wraps, Ive seen it on many of your rods.
    I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.

    You do really nice work. I'm assuming you do like a basic wrap as a first layer and then wrap it up with the metallic green to give it that 3D look? Either way, really nice rod. This blank for spanish?

    SNAKE, its a technique I picked up on another forum. You can do a simple diamond wrap but what i do is use mesh drywall tape. Cut a 2ft long 1-2in pieces and wrap it up the blank like you would cork tape. Then add your metallic thread over the top. Add a coat of epoxy and then you can add any style wrap over it to make it pop

    Thanks Bill. Hope he likes it. Gotta get it shipped off but I've been stuck in bed with the flu.
