So was my conolon (classic)....favorite because Mr. John taught me a lot about restoring it (he did most of it)but I learned a bunch....loved that rod.....and fished great....searching for another classic that I might have found.....won't know till fished.....but maybe in the market for a newer ....new to me..... king rod that won't break the bank....funtional & clean is all I need ......someting I can put it to the fish but not weigh a ton, balanced with a 706/ vs150 ?

I've got two old Roddy's. They both need reworking, just have not got to them yet. I don't believe either would hold up to a King, but more like 10-12lb Class stuff.
Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
