    Rod tip glue/epoxy

Looking at finishing up another rod build and looking to see what guys like to us to keep the top guide in place? On other builds I have used the fugi glue sticks and place glue on rod tip and place tip. This seems to work for a while but end up twisting or loosening up. See where some folks use two part epoxy with success but requires a bit more heat to remove is guide is needed to be replaced in future.

What are you guys using for this simple task in rod building that's giving me headaches.

I first use the tip glue stick to get the tip in place, then when I go to add finish the entire blank, I will lightly dab some epoxy at the base of the tip for a solid hold.

The fugi stick glue works fine for me. Kayak and surf rods that get in a lot of hot weather.
I shave bits of the rod-tip glue off the glue stick and stick them in the rod tip. Then heat the rod tip and when the glue melts, push on fishing rod and hold in place until the glue sets. I think the reason most tip glue applications fail is because of not enough glue. Putting glue shavings in the tip seems to solve this.
