buy one on ebay....I have one somewhere and can't find it....took it with me on vacation in case the reel bail broke(spring) and now not sure where I put it....I believe the reel doc has them
looks like there aren't any on there now

Well I have an old greenie that got passed down through my family and I am the only one that uses manual. Is there a kit or something I have to use to make it a manual?

yes there is a manual conversion kit....be patient there should be one appear on ebay where I got mine from....really wouldn't suggest cutting the bail wire off since it has been passed down through the family and the roller on the kit is bigger and made for it without the bail....if I can find mine I might let it go, since I haven't used the 710 since I got it....although the cart would look good with all greenies on it....just picked up a nice 712 ....the thing about finding them with no salt water around, they are usually in great condition

Yeah this reel is in beautiful shape so you're right, I may not need to cut the bail off. Has original box too

Anyone interested in parts from him should take the time to pay attention to his phone number on the business card in his item photo background. He is hard to get him on the phone, but worth the effort. He often has parts in stock that aren't listed on eBay and offered better prices, shipping and payment terms on his phone orders. IDK if he still does things that way, as it has been several years since I have had any dealings with him, but it is still worth a shot.

I believe the young man took my advice and contacted thefisher_man so most likely that helped him list a few on Ebay?? as long as the young man gets helped and what he is in need of....between him and the reel doc, they do and have some good stuff no longer available
