Outrigger / stabilizer for kayak
Thinking about building a set of out riggers for my kayak are they worth the effort and do they stabilize the yak that much? If so what would you guys recommend?

I found lot of youtube videos on this. I've never known anybody who did this, so no experience, but I can see the need. At 63, tall and top heavy, I don't attempt to stand in the Outback, and usually avoid it in the PA as well.

Check out this guys youtube channel. He has a small outboard on the crossbar and runs out to the reefs quite often. https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...+kayak+fishing

Do a search on tkf Texas kayak fishermen,,seems they don't use them, just the double pedal Hobie sailers.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
