Never will get hired on shrimpboat,,

Never having seen a pier net, having some scrap catfish cage cover net,,my project started.Half way thru the thoughts came to me to instruct wife,if I ever say"pier net" and "build" in the same sentence, shoot me immediately, without prejudice..well she came out, looked, declared "you aren't gonna net anything with that",,well hopefully Saturday am I get to hear her holler "get the net!"..meanwhile tween our Likker sto dolly pier cart, my old 302's,the laughable pier net,,but armed with yall and my kayak/pier fishing buddy's smarts ,maybe we can do some damage this coming weekend!! only thing I would do is put a 10" ring in the bottom. it helps with keeping the fish Head up in the net instead of straight down into the net to chew thru the bottom

looks good to me for the first attempt....things like this are always in progress with the build, I just saw the other day a hulla hoop being used for the ring of a net.....also heard of bicycle tire rims for it too.....this, along with catching fish while using them is the fun of pier fishing ....there are so many ideas and things out there that can be used for it
it won't be hard to recognize you now though
