Lure blanks
I am considering ordering some lure blanks to paint and hook since the fishing budget doesn’t support how quickly X-rap’s can be lost.
Has anyone ventured down this road and had any success??? Most of what information is available online is freshwater oriented. Also, poor swimming/ action or poorly distributed weight is commonly seen amongst what I have seen online.
If if someone HAS had success in finding a supplier of a blank that matches the X-rap shape and action, I would REALLY appreciate the information.

I bought some small plastic ones from LureParts to cast behind a bubble, but did not have much success. I have not bought the size you are talking about, but LureParts has them.
http://www.lurepartsonline.com/Onlin...ainted-Bodies/People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

Go to academy sports in the bass section, their deep diving suspending jerkbaits are amazing from the pier. Same length as an xr12 slightly thinner. They cast like a bullet and only cost 2.99 each. Also have not had one break on Kings or Jack's(so far). And with the price you can get ten for the price of two xraps

Nothing matches the xrap action. I have also had success with the academy deep diving jerkbaits. Hooked up with the sexy shad pattern.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
