King rod build #2
Used John Gs recommendation for a king rod, Batson bsw80l blank, Pac Bay XBSG guides 60,40,30,25,and 16. Reel seat, Fuji FPSM 20. Grips one F0412B and two F0410B. Built a power wrapper, this makes life a lot easier. Ordered every thing from Kathy, at the Rod Room.

Re: King rod build #2
very nice, I used that blank when I built my first king rod. Are you using braced guides all the way?

Re: King rod build #2
Thanks. Yes I'm using the same guides all the way.

Re: King rod build #2
It's been along time since I built a rod, and I just learned a new trick from you "those O rings to temporarily hold the guide"
NICE!
