    Homemade pier car

    This is my cart I made for my upcoming trip.

    nice work!! Those bolts & nuts on the top of the pvc rod holders might become a problem....just saying
    got a picture of the gaff you made?? thanks
    a small caster wheel on the front is almost a must for me too.

    I may have to make a smaller gaff. I put it on the botom of a 5 gallon bucket for reference. Also, what problem are the bolts going to present? thanks for the input Ironman!

    might punch a hole in anything in the cart, like cooler ....just an observation from the picture....mine was always a work in progress when making things, and changed,perfected for my next trip....my cart is store bought, but if I had the room, I would love to have a larger one to accommodate a bigger cooler ....but works for me now.

    Great looking stuff! Zip ties work really well holding the tubes on the cart, BTW. If it was me, I would grind the edges off the point tapers to make the points rounder. Have to really make them smoooooth so they won't grab or cut the line. They may be ok, though, hard to tell from a photograph.

    I admire do it yourselfers.
