    Stainless allthread works good....if not having a barb.....I see one with barbs.....it will work

    I can put barbs on the others. I welded a wing nut to the stainless bolt. Used a stainless rod on my stick welder. Pretty tricky welding. But a hell of a lot cheaper than a new stainless one.

    Welding steel to stainless needs 309 stick otherwise brittle and might break....308 welding rod for stainless to stainless......or tig it all.....I do both depending on application.

    I get my stainless metal at a local scrap yard that has an area for stainless & aluminum.....on the cheap (my middle name )

    You’re right on the 309. I usually tig it but I was at work. All we have are stick welders. I had some 309 stainless sticks. Now hope flounder are around in a cple weeks
