    guide sizing?

Well, I've searched and searched and I can't find my guide sizes I've used for previous king rod builds...I'm building a new blank and I haven't decided on K series or regular wire guides. That being said, can someone tell me the sizes for each? The blank is an 8' medium power, fast action.

K's, 50 double foot then 30,25,20,16,12,all single foot. Wires,70,40,30,20,16,14 and if you want a sixth guide you can add a 12. If the action is a little stiff you can loosen it up by using larger guides towards the end and larger ring tips. A lot of people don't understand how easy it is to minipulate the action of a blank with guide types, sizes, wrap lengths, and the amount of finish used.

If you still haven't decided go with the K's its worth the extra $ the new wire guides just don't hold up like the old ones do.
