Recomendations for a pier cart. What would you experienced guys suggest I look at and where. I hate to buy something them wished I had ask for some advice. Would appericate your input.

I took a dolley that folds down into a cart and made one, just built a frame out of 2x2s for it, it looks like frankenstien but got the dolley for free and had the other stuff laying around so was a cheap and easy solution, being able to push or pull it is a plus in my book as well
J&M has a good selection of nice ones to choose from. I got a full size aluminum cart on a scratch and dent special(a minor dented rod holder) from WalMart(after some haggling with a manager). I prefer the aluminum full size one like i have, over the heavy garden utility trailers, although i would still be using my red wagon if not for finding the dented cart at wally world. I've made PVC carts, ice chest carts, and wagon/utility carts, but after the time and money invested, the aluminum cart is the way to go..

While they aren't aluminum, they also aren't $200 or more.
Search the forums and you'll find several topics on pier carts. There are even threads on building your own "DIY" cart in the DIY forum.
I've been looking myself and decided that aluminum is the way to go if it is going to get any regular use. Otherwise be prepared to constantly fight the salt.
Back in 1990, I stuck a rod rack on a cheap hand truck from Walmart.
I've been using it ever since.
