does anyone know about this old diawa spinner

Was down poking around my storm pit wine making area th other day and looked at an old rod rack.hanging there was a spinnin rod I remembered dad having from my childhood. On inspecting the reel which I figured was junk,,it was bound from line wound under the skirt,,remedying this and cutting the electrical tape which held it to th ancient mouse eaten cork handle,I proceeded upstairs to clean it up,,lil bigger than a mitch 300 ,,,,smooth as silk,,,fathers day discovery,,he keeps giving after over 20 years,,,its an ag20558 ball bearing, rear drag,,

Thank goodness you found it and the timing is just right. Maybe repair it and just look at it or use it and HOLD on tight. He might like that.
