Dude, I don't know you and I'm not trying to be a jackass, but have you considered going to the Rod Room and looking at blanks?????? The best selection of rod components in the South East is 10 miles from you. You'll get to see and feel the parts and you will save $25 on shipping.

The batson xp963 and xp964 are both great rods for those applications. The 963 is more of a light bait rod where as the 964 is better for artificials.

Give a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
