Batson SW 967F or PacBay 1086-H I've got to know quick!!!

For the rod builders in the crowd...

I am Planning to build 4 new rods for wife and I before our Fall excursions...

For kings, snobblin and Yozuri's - which rod would be best????
Plan to hang Penn 704's, 17lb mono.
Must be 2pc for traveling.

The Rainshadow gets good reviews and they swear it's tuff on big fish, but the medium power scares me a bit, even given a fast action.

The PacBay sounds good, but I would prefer a 8' over 9'. Cutting the tip would void the warranty.

any help from builders or owners would be greatly appreciated!
