Stuff needed for a nice ol 704z Greenie
Scored this ol beauty yesterday:
Pretty good shape. Would like to find a gold spool (it'll match up with my rod windings then) , a pancake handle, and a medallion for it. Prolly dreamin about the medallion!
Anybody got this stuff or know who I need to get with?
Thanks much.

One thing you can do is go here http://www.searchtempest.com/ and search craigslist from Multiple cities. I usually just do the dropdown box for distance. Search for keywords to limit your search to things you actually need.

You might want to get in touch with Mike K. on the medalion, he did some out of silver not too long ago. He did some 706 ones out of silver and gold and has a mold.

Re: Stuff needed for a nice ol 704z Greenie
Thanks much yall,
Might be a tiny bit cheesy, but for the time being I have made a medalion from a photo and clear epoxied it into the hole. Should last as long as my rod wraps (same epoxy) and I sure do like it better than an empty hole. I also painted the drag and handle gold. It seems the plastic takes paint pretty well. We'll see how it all holds up. In the mean time the ol battle horse has a facelift!!!!
