I'll take it, if you tell me how to pay now, and if you will hold until April!
Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.

I'm thinking a nice 40 yr old Penn 710Z would fit nicely on that rod......Ebay time!

IMHO..the 710Z is THE perfect reel. It's a tank, large line capacity and throws a mile with a good rod. I have replaced all of my new junk with the old Penns and have been quite satisfied. I have 2 each 704Z, 710Z, 712Z and one 714Z. I WILL buy another 714 before the next trip. They are worry free, built like tanks and are a joy to fish.

SC, use a 704 spooled with 25 mono as a cobia outfit. 710 is way to small for that rod.

Well there you go..thanks John G. It must be bigger than it looks in the pics.
Now I have an excuse to find another bargain 704Z. I have been waiting for something to tie this on.....Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
