Need Value of Benelli 12 GA>
Upfront, I have no gun to sell. I found a Benelli 12 ga. fishing a few years ago. Brought it home, cleaned it up and fired it. Sent the numbers to ATF; they called and said it would take a week to find the owner. Never heard back. One of my clients is the Chief of Police in my hometown of Boaz, Al. He took the numbers from the gun and told me three weeks later it wasn't reported stolen or used in a crime. Now it is mine, and I don't hunt. How is the value of an item found? I will need to list it as a possession. Uncertain if this is the right place to look for this type of help, but I would appreciate any offered. Never found anything worth a flip before.

Appears to be a 12ga. duck gun, according to one of my lifelong drinking buddies. It is dressed in RealTree camo, it is a Benelli Super Black Eagle. Don't know how old. It has some wear, as if the owner enjoyed his game. It was in a case, washed up on the bank at one of my crappie holes. Took me two hours to finally go over and pick it up to see what it was. Ran ad's in the local paper, got no hits, that described this gun. I'm going to list in case, for insurance, if something happens to my home, like all the stuff. Really wish I could find out who it belongs to. Thanks for any help.

A brand new one cost 1499 and used one will go for about 700-1000 depending on condition. They are one of the best duck guns u can buy.
Love to hear that 706 sing
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
