    Mitchell 406

    SOLD before I even hit the pier...

    I'll be bringing an old school Mitchell 406, (made in France),to to pier in two weeks. Anyone interested in this type of reel?

    Looks clean for its age......that is the high speed version......I love my 306

    Bill, Your right, it is a high speed. These reels seem to be simple and indestructible. This is the next size up and seems to have a large line capacity. Might just keep it. I see there is a Bailless conversion available on line as well...

    Same size, just the gearing is different,then the 306......that makes it a higher speed retrieve

    Randy, I'm thinking $35. Great condition. If I don't sell, I'll order the bailess conversion for $10 and try it. Never used a bailess reel before and I know some guys swear by them.
