    Pics from trip this week

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who contributes to this site with reports and information. I've lurked for a while and really enjoy the site. We just returned home from our annual vacation to the Gulf. I fished the GSP for a couple hours every morning and one evening this week and thought I would share a few pics.

Best fight I had for the week.

And of course whipped one of these - to the dismay of the locals (sorry - I'm a vacationer and love the fight)

Didn't get as many of these as hoped for but best eating we had on our trip.

    Somehow managed one of these.

Lucky this one came in whole.

Had a great week of fishing and beach - can't wait until its time to return.

Thanks also to Haywire for introducing my daughter to the pier mouse - she wouldn't stop talking about it.

About like hooking a 25lb bluegill. They seem to be real fond of xraps and windcheaters. Every time I throw them for kings I get bit by a jack who heads to Key West with my lure.

About as ferocious too. A school of them feeding is something to behold.

It is kinda cool to see a 1/2 acre school of bait being savaged 2 miles away and then get to see them come by the pier.
