Good fish, Can you tell me how to fish for the kings. Do the reds bite on bottom or top of the water?
    thanks Mark

reds feed on bottom and top on the bottom they usually will eat up some cut mullet and for top they usually will hit jigs or Alewife's, cigs, or small sardines for kings i use a small swivel very small swivel! size treble, with 12-15 inches of malin wire leader. for line 15-20 lb. momoi high catch and on the reel about 200 yards or greater

FYI. Just to add to what Derek said. that fish ran over 300 yards on the initial run so a reel capable of holding at least 300 yards of 15lb test is a must for the big kings.

I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.
