Bryan Bennett Memorial Fishing Tournament
Beautiful day for a tribute to a friend! Great turnout for the Bryan Bennett Memorial Fishing Tournament and some fish were willing to give it up for Bryan and their was a cool fly over by a Frigate bird!
Byran's parents ended the tourney by dropping a wreath off the east side of the Octi followed by a moment of silence.
Too many pics to post, so here is a link to a slideshow:

The following is a quote from Lisa on FB:
"PIER FAMILY- Bryan Hill's family is going to make a living memorial reef that will include Bryans ashes along with memorable items. At his father's request anyone that would like to donate a lure, fishing gadget, etc. to be incorporated into the reef would be welcomed. The reef will be sunk in the Gulf, in viewing distance from the pier. A memory box will be at the pier house for you to place your items. Please also attach a note card with your name and any message you would like to add.
Arrangements will be posted later."
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
