Beautiful day at the pier, great food, friends and fun. The fishing good have been better, but can't have everything, every time!

Today was a great day to be anywhere outdoors having fun, but it was even better to share in the camaraderie of the GSP.
And especially to enjoy all the tasty food of the annual picnic.
What a great group of people, it is a pleasure to break bread, fish an socialize with y'all.
Thanks to all those who contributed, and special thanks to John G. for the main course of delicious BBQ.
Already looking forward to next year.

    Great job folks!
It is so cool to see so many people spread from all over, come together for a good time, good company and good food.
Thanks to the organizers, contributors and participants and to Ranger Randy and the Park staff for permission and help setting up, and of course the Good Lord for such a gorgeous day!

Wish I could've made it but duty called first :-(

You can almost buy a twelve pack for what they're charging out of that machine.

I was sticker shocked when I saw $2.50 for a coke. I know some of you remember nickle or dime cokes but the ones I enjoyed the most were ones I think were in a 10oz green tint glass bottle that cost 15 or 25 cents and the bottle had a nickle deposite. The flavor was so much better than it is now.

I remember going to the drug store and getting the cherry coke when it first came out and it was an additive from the soda jerk guy(maybe even the pharmacist) one of my first memories that hasn't left me yet ....and use to canvice the alleys finding throw away bottles to cash in....but they went .05, the big ones were that then.....before they did go to .05 and .10 ....I thing the little ones were .02
2.50 is way to much....I am all for convenience but???? 1.50 would be a good profit for the pier, I don't see many sells at 2.50.....and surely not by me iffin I was there
