Where to find croaker big enough to eat?
I have been lucky enough to catch a few croaker worth keeping but not often.does anyone know a good place around gulfshores or dauphin island that I can catch some of these guys big enough to eat?

Little Lagoon (in a boat) is your best bet until November.

Or a few hundred miles east and north -- Chesapeake Bay is loaded with those you can measure by the pounds (and a few billion smaller ones).
I've got a new, never used, large 36" pier fishing net for sale with 30' heavy duty rope. Looking to get just $38 and no extra tax! Msg me if you want pics.
