    van stall

Ok, would some one please explain to me (other than the parts situation) makes a stall so much better than a penn 706z? might be a little off the wall question, but i've fished both and I prefer the pen 706z, could someone please explain??
I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.

The primary advantage of a stall is that it's hard to fit a horse in a 706Z
    Particularly a dead one. :

    RB -
Van Stall is what happens when your ride runs out of gas (or when you tell your date that's what happened).
Van Staal is a maker of fishing gear

As to your question, I have no idea.

If VS's sounded as obnoxious as an old ragged out 706,had a roller to play with when board, and felt sloppy due to a prehistoric anti reverse system,I'd start using one.

    Re: van stall

Van Staal reels are sealed including the drag. You can use your rod as a wading staff, reel underwater, or drop it into the sand then crank it underwater to clear it. It is also quite sturdy and has a decent drag. You might think about a sealed reel for kayaking, or wading, for example. If you plan to do that to your reel, then by all means get the VS or another sealed reel like it. There are more expensive reels which are also more or less sealed like the VanStaal including the ZeeBaaS, Torque, Stella or Saltiga, of which frankly the Van Staal is the cheapest.

Now that VS reels have been around quite a few years, that reputation for bullet-proof performance is not just a promise. However, they are not to everyone's taste and you can find used ones for a lot less than the full price new ones, something not yet true of the competitors mentioned.

Thanks, I've asked that question several times and this is the first time I actually got a legitimate answer, instead of just "it's a staal :wall: really irritating
