Stinger hook
How many of you use one on your live bait king rig? To those that have tried it, did it increase your hook ups?

I use them on dead cigars often, but not so much on live LYs or sardines. When I have tried using them in the past on live bait it seems just as effective to leave the hook dangling (on a short wire) because it does not stay in the LY. More often than not the stinger winds up in the side of the king's head.
I find stingers most effective on trolled cigars or on unattended flat lines.People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.
