State Record Bonito?
What Davis accomplished by hauling in that little tunny was snapping the longest-held record in the Alabama Marine Resources Division’s (MRD) saltwater record book. Davis’ bonito weighed 22 pounds, 4 ounces to eclipse the 21.0-pound mark set by W.A. March Jr. of Mobile in 1956.

A bonita half that weight is huge.
I cannot fathom the size and girth of this beast. Must've looked like a blackfin(RETIRED) mostly.

I saw one yesterday but it was closed mouth. Would not eat anything thrown. I personally know of 3 that have been caught in the last two weeks. No kings yet.
