    Re: Polarized lens

I have a pair of costa land sharks 580 with blue lens and have always wondered about the green lens. I also have some Maui Jim's with black lens but they don't work that well in dark colored water .

Copper with green mirror is the best color for fishing the water on the gulf coast. It gives a bit of contrast to the emerald green water which makes it a bit easier to see fish.

    Re: Polarized lens

Would a blue mirror finish with a copper lens be alright? Talked to a company just now and they are able to get me a prescription copper lens but they do not carry it with a green mirror finish.

Thats weird. You can only get copper with Green mirror RX from Costa. If you get the Blue, it comes with a grey lens.

    Re: Polarized lens

It is not a pair of costas. It is from lens crafters in Mobile they have some polarized sunglasses that are a bit less expensive. Which is why I am asking if the mirror color affects the glasses, I know the lens one does, just not the finish :\

    Re: Polarized lens

I found out that you can not even get mirror with 580p's coppers, with transition lenses, very expensive, but nice to fish with.
