Pier net cover
I was wondering if they made a pier net cover or carrier. when I have my wifes car I can get all me rods, the cart, cooler, bait buckets etc. in there fairly easy, but it seems like when I put the pier net on top of everything when I go to take it out it gets caught on either the rod holders on the cart or reel handles etc. I thought if they made a solid canvas carrier with maybe a draw string that would easily slip in and out it would make things a lot easier. I don't have any problems with my pickup because I just stand the net up next to the cart. There is a lady up here that makes custom boat covers and pool covers that could probably make me one, but I thought maybe they sold them. I looked online but couldn't find anything.

Man what an interesting idea I have the same problem just getting my net in and out of my van Don't think they make one but I'm going to explore grill covers and outdoor furniture covers and see if they will work

Two suggestions from my van-based experience, although it may not apply in a car with trunk -- 1) net goes on the bottom, so it cannot drape down into the rods and hooks (nothing in a pier net or handled-net for that matter is harmed by weight); 2) a contractor-sized trash bag or a piece of plastic/light tarp folded in half.

Do they still make those canvas spare tire covers? Use to see them on externally mounted RV, truck and van spares.

I tried putting the net in first and the legs of the cart and reel handles still got caught and I don't like the wheels running over the metal rings. I've used the tarp before and it works OK but then I have to fold it back up because I always take it with me in case it rains and I have to cover the cart. If I can't find something I think I'll just have that Gal sew one up, she made my pool cover and a bag to put it in and it works perfect for that.

My pier net is in my storage shed in Gulf Shores and I need a measurement, I know they make different sizes but mine is the double ringed one that it seems like a lot of people have, I think they call it a lobster net and I bought it at Top Gun. I'm pretty sure its 32 inches. I found a carrier that should work its for 36 inch Christmas wreaths.

Get a small, cheap plastic tarp and a glue gun and you'll soon have a net cover.
