Pier Gaff
Where is a good place to pick up a pier gaff. Bass Pro and Dick's sporting goods don't carry anything and I want to get one before I head down Tuesday. Nobody around Spanish Fort carries anything geared for pier fishing. Also what would be the best size to get.

Re: Pier Gaff
Look up Ironman on the forum here.
I think J&M tackle may be carrying some of his gaffs or something comparable as well.

Thanks for the word....but mine were a limited run....J&M had a few of Chad's when I was there in June....might do a few for my next trip, but haven't messed with them for some time now.....still need to get some spear head jigs together to send to pier#r and brother....things have been hectic up here lately ....but settling down some now
Thanks to all that got one....good to know they are helping get the fish on the deck!!! :fishing: :headbang:

Re: Pier Gaff
I am almost happy that my former gaff was stolen. Yours is 10 times better than the one i had.
The weight and design is just perfect for a quick gab even at green fish. I cant tell you how many first shots ive nailed thanks to your handiwork.
