Blue Crabs
Coming to Gulf Shores for an extended Easter weekend and was thinking of doing a little blue crabbing. Can anyone tell me what the blue crab possession limit is for a recreational crabber? I know they have to be 5" but I have not seen anything on possession limits. Thanks.

No bag limit unless you are pulling a shrimp net, then the "bycatch" limit you can keep is 5 gallons.

Thank you for the info! Only looking for about 2 dozen or so to feed the family. Didn't want to break any laws. We have a 12 doz. limit in Louisiana, which is still plenty.
I've got a new, never used, large 36" pier fishing net for sale with 30' heavy duty rope. Looking to get just $38 and no extra tax! Msg me if you want pics.
