NAVARRE BEACH, Fla. (WEAR) — An Alabama fisherman got quite the catch Tuesday.

A 10-foot, 700-pound great white shark was caught off of Navarre Beach Pier.
The shark was immediately tagged and released after being reeled in.
The data on the shark will be sent to NOAA Apex Predators Research Program.
WEAR has a crew heading to the pier to speak with the fisherman. Tune into tonight's show to see what he had to say about the catch.
