Next Saturday
I think I'm going to try to get the boys out to the pier, or pass on Saturday afternoon. Is it worth trying to slurp some ghost shrimp this time of year? Is either the pier or the pass more likely to result in the boys catching some fish? There's a chance we'll be able to come down early, but I think it's going to have to be later.

Re: Next Saturday
From what I read on the forum, the fishing park at the Pass, (Alabama Point), is closed off due to a dangerous and eroding seawall that will be re-constructed. But, I think you could fish from the bank on the East side!

[font=comic sans ms][size=12pt]The seawall is still accessible behind The Gulf (restaurant),
Here is a pic of the pass from a thread about the pass that maybe of interest. Link to the thread is under the pic that maybe of interest. Link to the thread is under the pic

Re: Next Saturday
Like fin said, you can still get to the seawall behind the restaurant. Ghost shrimp definitely work good and you can still slurp them in the surf around the pier and along the beaches.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
