Welcome to the forum "stik" :headbang:
Mid July is usually pretty HOT with a decent chance of showers or thunderstorms.
There should be a good chance at tarpon from the pier, along with king & spanish mackerel, bluefish, LOTS of ladyfish and blue runner.
In the surf there will be whiting, but they are usually small in the summer.
But there will be lots of bluefish, ladyfish, bluerunners and maybe even a few pompano to play with.
Also a chance for specks in the surf and near the passes.
If you wade fish, watch out for stingrays and sea nettles!
Hope this helps!
REmona and skipjack! :headbang:
::) LOL!
For Peaches: "HAWA NO GOOD, LY MO BETTA!"
thank you for the welcome. i expected it to be hot and will probably do a lot of fishing at night. i love a good spanish bite and have hooked a couple of kings but never landed one. i'll be happy with anything that will pull a line.

I have some new corks to throw over your line - they are....wait for it........peach colored :yay:
Was going to come down today or tomorrow. But I think I'll wait a week when all the 420 crowd has drifted away on the wind

Night fishing will be mostly sharks.
Dawn and dusk are often good times using lures for spanish, blues and jacks in the surf or from the pier.
Come out early on the pier til you can't stand the heat, take a break and come back in the early afternoon when the seabreeze kicks in!
