    Jerry Brown Braid?

Anyone have any experience with it? I know alot of the guys over at Navarre swear by it... looking for a good braid to king fish with :moon:
Give a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

Hope you don't like your fingers to much. King fishing with braid can end painfully.

    Re: Jerry Brown Braid?

I don't have any experience with that brand, but I do recommend Power Pro SUPER SLICK 8-strand if you are going to attempt king fishing with braid.

At least it is smooth and wont cut you and other people's lines on a King run.

Regular braid, I would never recommend for Kings no matter how seasoned of a fisherman.

If line capacity is all you want, then at least put 50 yards of top shot over the braid so that when your line is close to the pier, you'll have more give on the fish and less tangles in others' lines, etc. Braid in the spool isn't so much a problem as it is when dealing with zero stretch right at the rock.
